Poespas - Pre start log

Pre Start Log
You are probably aware that the start was delayed until tomorrow , Tuesday, due to a low weather system nearby. Now all looks good for the ARC 2012 to start
tomorrow morning ( although the racing fleet started Sunday ) Tuesday 27th
On board Poespas we have , Roger the owner/skipper Dutch and a fixed wing pilot on sabbatical . Mike, first mate from the uk ,ex builder now full time sailor.
Axle from Germany now living and working in Spain as a GP and olive farmer. Andy from the uk ex navy navigator and serving police officer. Elle from Poland

So you can see we are a mixed bunch from different backgrounds but all have sailing pulling us together. Elle who is the newest to sailing, about two years, did
the ARC last year but the rest of us are ARC virgins looking forward to the voyage.
Well the boat is prepared , provisions on board ,Checks all done, watches arranged, sextants ready and 20 knots of wind forecast for the start line tomorrow.
So all is good..... Just want to get going now.
