From round the world adventures to island hopping, there’s something for everyone. Our rally teams are all keen to ensure that everyone has a great time ashore and afloat – rallies are more than simply sailing.

ARC+ departs every November from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, calling at Cape Verde before crossing the Atlantic to Grenada.
World ARC
World ARC is a 15-month, 26,000NM circumnavigation starting each January in Saint Lucia, with half-rally options to or from Australia.
ARC Europe
ARC Europe sails west-to-east from the Caribbean and US via Bermuda and the Azores, finishing in Lagos, Portugal.
ARC Baltic
ARC Baltic covers 1,000NM across five countries in a month, starting in Kiel in July and visiting Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and Finland.
ARC Portugal
ARC Portugal cruises across the Bay of Biscay from the UK, then day-sails down the Iberian coast to conclude in Lagos, Portugal.
Ocean adventures, global friendships, and expert support across the world’s great sailing routes
World Cruising Club is a global leader in bluewater sailing adventures, bringing together over 450 yachts and 1,600 sailors from 45 countries each year for unforgettable ocean passages and offshore cruising rallies. We’ve been organising cruising rallies since the first ARC set sail in 1986, and our events are built on one simple principle: safe and sociable sailing. With decades of experience and the highest safety standards in offshore rally organisation, we provide the reassurance of safety in numbers. Our routes are sailed every year, giving our team up-to-date, first-hand knowledge of every destination and the best local insight for our participants. When you join a rally, we take care of the details so you can focus on the adventure. From entry formalities and dockage arrangements to shore events and parties, plus 24/7 at-sea professional support, we’re with you every step of the way so you can concentrate on making memories. Even before you set sail, we support your preparations with a comprehensive rally handbook and regular monthly update emails, helping you stay on track and fully prepared for the voyage ahead. From once-in-a-lifetime circumnavigations to island-hopping explorations, our rallies offer something for every level of ocean sailor with a spirit of adventure. More than just sailing, we create a vibrant community at sea and ashore. Our experienced rally team ensures every moment is enjoyable, supportive, and sociable - because a World Cruising Club Rally is about the whole experience, not just the passage. |

Sailing across an ocean takes planning and preparation. One of the best ways of discovering what it's really like and gaining insight into everything from equipment choices to weather is to join one of our shoreside events.
Whether you're signed up for a rally or dreaming of the future, everyone is welcome at our shoreside events. Taking place in the UK, North America and Europe, plus online webinars, the shoreside events are mainly free.
Sailing over the horizon requires preparation. Getting the boat ready, perhaps buying new sails or specialist equipment like a watermaker or hydrogenerator. Ensuring the crew are mentally and physically ready (and have their passport and any visas). Making sure you have enough food, water and fuel. Planning the route and considering all the ‘what ifs’.
When you start to think about it, the details of ocean sailing can seem quite daunting. We’ll help you through the process with our comprehensive rally handbook and useful monthly rally update emails to keep you on track.
