NoStress - Log Day 10 - Mr. Trade Winds - we’ve been expecting you.

At last. Fair weather, smooth seas and 14 knots of breeze right behind us. Finally it feels like we’re making inroads into the crossing - instead of just trying to get ourselves into a suitable position to make inroads into the crossing!

It’s been a busy but peaceful day. More jobs, washing, baking, making rice-pudding. The galley team have worked miracles and we had homemade burgers and chips for dinner - the Des burger is mighty indeed, the hungry crew all silenced by the hearty meal.

No sign of dolphins or any fish today. Also conspicuous by her absence was Pandora’s Box. They say they don’t, but I suspect Jake and Des secretly miss her.

The ARC fleet report told us of several more boats that have returned to land with equipment failure or illness, so everyone’s had their challenges.

Hopefully we’re past the challenging weather now. We just need to look after each other (including the boat) and watch conditions closely to try not to lose the wind.

Signing off from the Atlantic,

Alex & the NoStress Crew
