We are now a week out from Mindelo and the ship and crew of Wild Iris are all ticketyboo. The start in Mindelo lulled us into a false sense of security with it’s fair breeze and excellent sea state. Since then it is fair to say that the sailing aspect has been particularly testing with a constant search for any breeze. However, we are determined to reach our destination without motoring.
