Wild Iris - Log day 6. Nearly there; only 225nm to go! Friday 10th Nov

As we swap to the midnight shift on Thursday night/Friday morning we 225 miles to go and we are on the Starboard layline spinnaker run. Have we come too low in our search for breeze and will end up white sailing to the finish? Predict wind is being consulted every 4 hours and we are now sailing to a compass heading rather than following the breeze. Thankfully the seas are reasonably flat as the wind has not filled in as promised. Its a busy day keeping the sails set, seas sparkling and wildlife passing by.......getting excited for the finish!
