Jasmine - Day 12

More good weather but no wind, Nick and Joxer worked on the ARC weather charts this morning and have hatched a cunning plan to go further south to find the predicted winds so its engine on and heres hoping. In the meantime another dorado was caught by Jox, a fine one. another swim and a big clean boat including bucketing the decks with sea water so now we are ready again. Come on wind .

Earlier Bill spotted a pair of seabirds which hung around the boat for quite awhile . He thought they resembled Bermuda long tails but not quite, his best guess was some type of tern . They had a long single tail feather as long as their body . We were visited again by dolphins ,perhaps the same as our dolphin visitors of yesterday.

This morning we were 1100 miles from St Lucia .It will be good to get that down to a three numeral figure. No sign of any other craft today visually or on radar though last night for the whole night we had a bright light in the low south eastern night sky . It showed flashing red on a regular interval . Not the space station as that moves ,perhaps some geostationary satellite .

Dorado for dinner again tonight , excellent .
