Friday 20 early in the morning the first boat of the World ARC fleet crossed the finish line to complete Leg 2 of the rally and arrive in the beautiful islands of San Blas.
The first yacht across the line was Hanna followed by Like a Breeze and Taistealai. The finish line for this leg is unobserved and out at sea rather than within the islands. This means that all boats can safely cross the line even in darkness, without having to begin pilotage amongst the San Blas reefs.
Today the first crews arriving in Porvenir to visit the Immigration Office was the crew from Arabela with skipper Sergey Eriskin. After formalities all the fleet has a couple of days to explore the island before heading to Puerto Linton for clearance with Port Authorities.
So there is a break for everyone in beautiful San Blas paradise!
