Raylah - Log Day : Spiraling into insanity

The good ship Raylah glides down the African shore, it’s sails wing on wing like a graceful Dove, with a kind wind from Neptune and 7kn on the log. Superb tactics from Jack (our British colonist) has put us with the front runners in our group, can we claw up a few more places for podium silver?

Down below things are not so rosy!!! The desperate need to get crew at the last minute has meant corners have had to be cut, standards have had to drop. There is a danger in taking people of low intelligence and limited ability to sea but needs must when the Devil drives. There physical repugnance is not so much of an issue as they are only seen by flying fish and squids who land on the deck. However there blundering incompetence has to be constantly monitored. I have found that if I shout slowly and loudly to them in the shell of their ear and repeat it three times I have had some good results. But surliness sets in so easily and then they have to be sent to there cabins, or soundly beaten with with a piece of knotted Dyneema rope.

Anyway mustn’t complain, just been handed a superb Sandwich by Nic ,our chief engineer who can mend anything and ex BA Captain Long is currently in a management role by pretending to steer the boat by staring at the auto-helm.

Everything is going South including Yacht Raylah
