PG Roshni - Morning sleigh ride

Good morning all

The start went off peacefully in the end and we put our kite up a little after the leading 4 boats and I think we have stayed in that position since.

Massive broach by Nigel on the helm just off the Las Palmas airport in 30kn gust. The snuffer worked ok but took a bit of a beating so good job there is plenty of duct tape on board :).

Breeze freshened and we have been sleigh riding down the waves which were pretty impressive last night. Welcome to ocean sailing Susan !

I had the new trip record at 15.4kn then of course Ali had to top that with a new Roshni record planing at 18.9kn down a wave!

Steaming along now, 1 reef in the main and full headsail. All ok thus far... And even better Nigel gets to buy the beers in Mindelo :)
