After a full week of activities spread between the Bora Bora Yacht Club and the Bora Bora Marina, the first group of ten boats departed to head westwards to Tonga via the Cook Islands’ National Park of Suwarrow and the island of Niue.
The conditions at the start were very favorable with winds up to 15 knots ESE. Fresher winds are expected during the passage to propel the World ARC fleet on their way.
The second group is planned to leave Bora Bora on Tuesday 16th May at 1500LT (UTC -10).
