Lexington - Captain Bob: 3/14/17. 10*. 11' south. 127* 17' west

I have been trying to review the celestial navigation information that I have studied before when I did a power squadron celestial navigation course. To me it never came naturally. I have also been trying to interest Mark Arnold in it. He did 60 sun shots yesterday off the back of our rolling boat. Most were within 3-15 miles off which is excellent for someone new to the game. He did more today but I have to confess that one time he could not find the sun. After two days he has probably done more sun shots that most students that take the course. There is a lot more to it than just shooting the shots but he has a good start.

May fair winds fill your sails from the right direct with the correct strength.

Bob
