Delfini - say 12 - 1st dce

day 12 - absolutely battered by a severe squall last night - it hammered down with rain and blew old boots in all sorts of different directions - although fairly scary the entire crew mustered on deck to sort out the mess - we spent the rest of the night 2 on 4 hour watch rather than one on for 2 hours and this morning the sun was shining and wind piped up to 15 knots and we have sailed most if the day

Have now finished off the chicken and started on the mince so we have a bit of a Casserole tonight in the thermal cooker which I hope will be pleasant

1600 miles to go and at 120 per day maybe we will arrive 15th Dec !

Moral suffered a bit today as we didn't have any kip last night so we are treating each other gently - who would have thought tinned mackerel sandwiches with tomato and mayo would be nice - that was lunch

Anyway the tan is coming along and we are hopeful of wind tomorrow - hopefully in the right direction - the trade wind is supposed to be coming from Africa - right now the wind is coming from St Lucia

..... onwards xxxxx
