Mustique - Day 6 - Fifth Blog - Magnificent ocean sailing

Dear friends and ARC participants ,

We are already 700 miles away from Las Palmas and progressing really well on our northern route; its really working magic for us .

Start line was really amazing - we did really well, clearing the line first in our class!

We got our amazing parasailor spinnaker up now, flying it in 20knots true wind, dead downwind , which give us so much stability and 9 kn of boat speed !!!!

W/e have just finished our breakfast , proper english bacon ,toast and eggs ! mmmmm food on our boat is so good and Our master chef Fin is feeding all the time ! We will be probably wider than taller by the time we hit Saint Lucia ! :)

Sailing so far was amazing ,flying spinnaker and drinking gin tonics and eating our fabulous diners on sunset :)
what could one wish for more ? Our guests are getting used to ocean sailing ,some of them are experienced sailors and boat owners , but others are all hooked up on sailing bug including our dog Yuki that already sailed with us from Montenegro all the way to here , someone will be jealous as she have more than 3000 miles sailed already and she is so cute and friendly cuddly animal!

We are all looking forward sailing into Saint Lucia , and doing well in race ( not coming last in Arc).

Previously reading that so many boats had problems and one sunk makes me feel very sad , and really hoping our friends from SY Calypso return to Las Palmas safe as they have problems with their steering system :(

big regards from only Montenegrin boy
