Endeavour of Cork - Better news......

There are glimmers of light on the horizon!

There are still teams of men working furiously on the engine, but a few minutes ago they fired it up and put it in gear - and it drove!! Now the question is can we run it in neutral, as we'll need to be able to to that to charge the batteries for the duration of the trip - and we need that for communications and navigation instruments, as well as home comforts like the fridge and lights.

And having bought yet MORE batteries, now we discover that the latest ones are too big for their holders!

One step forward, one step back.

But we have declared an aim to leave at 11am tomorrow - so lets see if we can make that come true!!!

We'll be flying that spinny like demons trying to catch up the back markers!!!
