We hired a van and tour guide today to visit Soweto. Soweto is the township where Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu lived. It is an area where non whites were moved during Apartheid. Knowing this history it is amazing that Soweto boost that it is the only South African township that was home to two Nobel Prize winners. The name comes from south west township.
