Paw Paw - Log Day 273: "Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed" at Sunrise

After our World ARC Drop Outs get-together yesterday evening, we enjoyed a tasty dinner with Paula and Dan at the Musket Cove Island Resort and Marina restaurant while the children enjoyed a movie.
This morning, we were looking forward to a nice Sunday morning sleep-in, following all the festivities of yesterday, but, alas, we were both "bright eyed and bushy tailed" at sunrise again, so we opted for an early morning walk on the beach and breakfast at Traders, where we whiled away a good part of the morning, lounging around in the comfy chairs on the colonial style veranda, enjoying the scenery and people-watching.
Then it was back to Paw Paw for a mid-morning nap for Elaine while Roy changed the diaphragm on the watermaker pump.
When Elaine eventually surfaced, she decided to bake an apple pie and then helped Roy wash the topsides again, but, this time, with a little help from Mother Nature as well. There's nothing like a good downpour to clean a yacht.
We also enjoyed an impromptu visit this afternoon from Karen and Marcel, a New Zealand couple whom we met through Do Over and Blue Summit at our get-together yesterday and who are considering replacing their monohull with a catamaran. They had asked us if they could look at Paw Paw, being a Leopard 46, since it was an option they were considering. It's fair to say they were suitably impressed.
Tonight, with the rainy weather, we've decided to stay onboard and enjoy an early night.
