Paw Paw - Log Day 69: The "Chicken Shoot" has "Flown the Coup"

At last we got the conditions this morning to fly our "Chicken Shoot".

For those of you who don't know what kind of sail this is, it's a small spinnaker which is more manageable for a short-handed crew like ourselves. Ours is actually more than 20 years old and comes off a monohull racing yacht, hence the weird numbers on it. When we had the sail checked in Grenada the sailmaker was amazed at its condition as well as the craftsmanship, based on its design and the fabric from which it is made. Apparently unheard of in our modern day.

For now though, we're sailing along at an average speed of 8 kts with the moon to light our way as we cross the 500NM mark in about an hour.
