If you are ever in Capetown, the Castle of Good Hope is a good visit. It is the oldest building in Capetown. It was the original fort built by the Dutch, started in 1652. We had a nice guide and also spent extra time looking at the military museum, Secunde's House and the art exhibit at the Governors House.
