We went to Parrl and Franschhoek which are two towns in the wine district around Capetown. It was a beautiful day for a 45 mile drive. We just started driving to the area and reading the tour books. We first read about a Sundry lamb Braai but it was sold out when we called. We ended up at Taillefert winery. It was a beautiful vineyard of nearly perfect looking vines. There was not a weed in sight. We had a nice lunch salad and then did a wine tasting. It was interesting but probably a waste of good wine.
