Lexington - Williams Bay Village

We anchored in Dillon Bay near a village called Williams Bay. Their chief, Jason, was very nice and receptive. They actually wanted to have their village a formal stop for the Arc. The Arc has stopped at a nearby village called Resolution Bay and has given a lot of support for the village and school. I am sure this village sees this as a good possibility for them to also benefit. World Cruising had contacted them just to get permission for us to have a potluck on the beach. The village escalated it into offering tours and a meal with the village. One tour was to caves where they used to leave their dead. There was a second cave where the bones of past chiefs were. This was all done before the missionaries changed their practices. I will show some pictures. Bob
