Timshel - Vanuatu to Australia Day 5

Another quiet day for us, plodding along. Decide to try going wing and wing with poled out yankee overnight as Hydra can steer better. This means we are heading a bit to far downwind, but at least our course is steadier without so many swoops up and down. VMG is quite good and we have 370 miles to go anyway. Aint Fancy reported on morning net that their engine is broken (again - it was just fixed in Vanuatu) so they will be short of power. Cesarina gallantly set off to look for them and is now standing by, also Lexington is close, but on evening net they reported that they have a fix for the problem. Take Off also does not have an engine due to a cooling problem I think. We still haven't seen any whales, we did sail through a flock of seabirds (some sort of Booby) so here must have been fish. Birds also around during the night must have had a party on the aft deck with some flying fish so it is now decorated - maybe it should be called the Poop deck? Folk are starting to look forward to arrival, seems a little premature, it will be a while yet for us anyway.
