Lexington - Bob: tour

We took another tour today. We went to an area called Taironaka. Is the site where previous Indians that were native to the area lived. We had a very nice tour. We went by boat up a river. We had a guide that showed us around that area. He showed areas were previous homes have been. He showed us structures that were reproductions of what would've been there at that time 3 to 400 years ago. He talked of the Indian traditions and ceremonies. We had buses that took us for about an hour and a half ride to get there. These would've been some of the Indians that were conquered by the Spanish conquistadors. We had a snack of fried plantain with a salsa topping and a creamy topping. At the end of the trip several of us floated down the river in innertube's while the others took the boat back.
