A great evening indeed! With about 90 crew members in attendance between the Rallies, it was indeed a pleasure to welcome so many new and familiar friendly faces. The Beach Terrace at Nanny Cay set the scene for the welcome, where participants enjoyed rum punches and canapés. DJ El Jugo (Juice in Spanish) added to the ambiance with an array of tunes.
Lyall welcomed all crew members making specific mention to the crews of World ARC 2014 who just completed their world circumnavigation in April 2015 namely: Avocet, Celebrate and Polaris heading back to Europe and Merlyn of Poole heading to the US. Miles, Nanny Cay's General Manager, was also pleased to welcome back boats to Nanny Cay and invited new ones to make Nanny Cay their home.
Afterwards, crews headed over to the Beach Bar to enjoy a BBQ meal and a few more beverages.
