Xenial - Day 1 - Start

After a few days of busy preparations (mainly focused on how much chocolate we should buy, where we should store it and how we should ration it) we are on our way to Cape Verde! Given the low winds, crossing the start line was less exciting than expected. However, with some trimming adjustments by Mr Hamilton and with better winds south of Gran Canaria, we have picked up some speed and are cursing at 8 knots. Peak speed of 10 knots was reached while pasta aglio olio e peperoncino was being served for dinner. Coincidence? I don't think so!
To sun up, crew morale is high and my level of Swedish still low.
