Khamsin - Khamsin Day 6.5

Whatever happened to the hours of boredom and the need for copious books and podcasts promised by our skipper? We haven’t stopped! In fact having sat next to Serge from Piment Rouge at the crew dinner, I’m beginning to wonder if someone smuggled ‘a small furry animal’ (French superstition reference) on board. Hahaha. Time consuming but a successful and very productive day. We took advantage of the low wind to send Milo up the mast again, fix the generator, patch the sail and attempt a halyard repair. Yay! Enjoying an afternoon snack and a quick sea swim our spirits very much lifted by the Wurzels version of ‘Go West’. Apologies to the Pet Shop Boys! Now fingers crossed let’s get sailing…
Oh and as I write this I can hear everyone trying to persuade Milo up the mast just one more time…
