Khamsin - Khamsin Day 6
Another gorgeous moonlit night (tho it’s a shame our slow start has caught us in low wind). The flying fish are unexpectedly a true delight as they skim the waves - a silver shimmering. The young ones, iridescent pinks and purples, are especially captivating. As my only prior experience of flying fish has been in a burger it’s a lovely surprise! We also had a stunning fish following in our wake yesterday evening: about 1.5-2 m long with a brilliant turquoise tail fin. Never seen anything like it before. Any ideas? It goes without saying that we would not allow Joe to try and catch it.
