Countdown to the Panama canal transit! Woohoo! One of our line handlers that lives on his big sailboat in Mexico showed up today. We are very happy to see our friend, Ed. Four years ago we sailed down the west coast of America from Seattle to Cabo San Lucas Mexico as buddy boats. Now he is here helping us go through the canal. The boatyard here at shelter bay offered a great deal on haul out and bottom scrub, so we took advantage of that this morning. Hopefully that will make the authorities in Galapagos happy. One more box ticked! We attended the skipper’s briefing and enjoyed a rum tasting before sitting down to a great barbecue dinner! Living the Sweet Dream
