Well just after the last blog got wind, and it continued to back round to west then south west so that we could point at St Helena. We got a very timely favourable forecast from weather guru Chris Tibbs and decided to go for it. We have been broad reaching or running wing and wing since yesterday evening, plenty of wind and making good progress. Just now we have 17kts S, sailing on a broad reach with reefed main, reefed yankee and staysail set. Some very small flying fish on the deck, some brown boobies flying about. 5 boats have stopped in Walvis bay but they are the bigger monohulls and cats so no doubt they will catch us up.
