So we have had a pretty decent 48 hours sailing, the crew are all finding their feet and daily operations are becoming smoother. Nick is doing well in his new position of watch lead and Hugo's night swing shift covering two half shifts is proving very popular in breaking up the nights for the watch leads.
We have had some minor issues to contend with including the Hydrovane bolts starting to work loose (thanks to Rum Truffle for bringing this to all's attention via the daily SSB net!!)
The rig checks are proving excellent in picking up issues early however we can become complacent as the boat is taking a bit of a pounding in this confused swell.
