Interlude - No starving on this yacht.

It’s clear now that there isn’t going to be much chance of dieting on this adventure.  All our crew seem capable culinary experts. So far we have delights such as sardine in pasta, a Mexican chorizo and potato ragu, cottage pie and a Moroccan Lamb and Apricot stew.

Oh! Gary has caught THREE Mahi Mahi thus far!  Mmmm….   Fresh ceviche salad and pan fried mahi mahi for appetisers.

To quote a sailing buddy of mine, “we are not animals on this boat!”

Friends and family and being thankful.

We might be sailing 3,000 miles across the shark infested Atlantic ocean but there is still time to give thanks for our friends and family. Being a US yacht, we had our own Thanksgiving Dinner and I was privileged to be part of my first ever US thanksgiving too!
Our skipper, Dan, slaved away in the galley for hours and hours and produced a roast turkey thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Normally, we dress for dinner but for this special occasion we dressed down a little and just wore our normal crew uniforms leaving our tuxedos hanging in our wardrobes.

(This particular blog put together by John and may or may not be complete imagination – You choose!)
