Agua Dulce - Final Preparations - Goodbye Bermuda and Dark & Stormies!
We are looking forward to an getting underway on the next leg of the trip to the Azores which departs tomorrow. I’ve been cooking up some more meals for the freezer while Charles has been rigging his fishing gear. Maybe we’ll be eating fresh fish en route! We did some troubleshooting on what we thought was a dead inverter, but turned out it was only a blown fuse - hallelujah! So, all systems are go and we are stocked to the gills with crackers, chips, cup noodles, apples (an apple a day!), and anything we can fit without lowering the waterline any more! We’ve loved being rafted to S/V Tara - our twin Hylas 54! - at the Dinghy Club this week. Lyle, Andy, Mia and all the “yellow shirts” with the World Cruising Club have been great - especially their pirate costumes. We’ve got to leave some Dark & Stormies for the boats arriving this week, so we’ll shove off tomorrow.
