I am currently planning a 1 year trip with my girlfriend to go sailing in a 35-40 ft boat. We are trying to decide the starting point, I would like to leave from Vancouver since it is close to home. Though there is not a lot of information on the route down the west coast. I have read that there are lots of places to tuck away from a storm and I have also herd the opposite. If soneone has done that route or has factual information about it I would be great full. Cheers
