Hello, I am wanting any advise or information regarding a North Pacific Crossing. I have the Jimmy Cornwell "world Voyage Planner" but it does not have a lot of detail of this passage.
I am thinking of departing Japan from Yokohama, Late May/Early June. Travel NE via the Kuroshino current then East along North Pacific current, then North on Alaska current. I am reading conflicting information about what Lat Long I should be on to pick these currents. So hoping for some confirmation.

I am also interested in any comments about heading to Janeau. Not a huge fan of the cold I wasnt interested in going further north to Dutch harbour and thought by going direct I would have more time in South Alaska and BC Canada for the season.

Welcome any advice

Thanking you

Joanne
