Does anyone have thoughts on whether a more southerly route (possibly Rapa Nui-Pitcairn-French Polynesia) would be preferable assuming that El Nino strongly persists through the spring?

Martin, we have a Bene 473 and she is in Trinidad at present. We were planning to cross Caribbean to Panama in February/March and then to Galapogos April and crossing to Central Pacific. We are planning to return home to NZ mid to end 2016.
Very interested as to your comments and plans now in view of strong El Niño weather system this year.

Hi Peter. Glad to make contact privately, and very happy to co-ordinate schedules and weather information with you and anyone else planning a 2016 Pacific crossing.
