WX ARC Caribbean 1500 & ARC Bahamas 2017
06 Nov

Prepared: November 06 10:15z

Synopsis: Good morning. A cold front currently extends SW'ward across Lake
Ontario and into the Ohio Valley. This front will continue SE'ward across the NE'rn US and Delmar Peninsula through early tomorrow. A portion of this front will remain stalled across near Cape Hatteras/S'rn Virginia and into east/central US tomorrow morning. This portion of the front will then very gradually shift S'ward into the Carolinas through early on the 09th, and finally into Florida by the evening of the 09th while weakening. On the 07th and through the 08th, multiple waves of low pressure will move across this frontal boundary and off the coast of Cape Hatteras.

By late 09th and into the 10th, a strong high will dive SE'ward across the N'rn
Plains and towards the Great Lakes, building a ridge SE'ward across the SE'rn
US and into the Bahamas/Gulf of Mexico.

Conclusion:

AA: As the main part of the aforementioned front moves through, breezes will back from SW to eventually NE'ly through tomorrow morning. Through this time frame, the strongest winds will be found across the N'rn most portion of the
zone, as well as the highest associated seas. This trend will continue into the
08th as well as a few waves of low pressure move along the stalled boundary. Showers/squalls will generally be more numerous in the N'rn part of the zone
for the same reasons highlighted above.

BB: Conditions will remain generally benign across much of this zone as the
front looks to remain mainly stalled across the N'rn most part of the zone. That being said, the highest winds/seas will be found across this same part of the zone for this reason, in addition to the most widespread shower/squall activity.

DD: The weakest pressure gradients will be found across this zone over the next
few days, with the result being generally benign weather conditions. Gentle/light and variable winds are forecast through this zone through the 08th, with seas remaining generally low (the highest sets in the farthest N to NE'rn part of the area).
