Mischief - Final Push for Santa Marta

We are having another great sailing day and all is fine onboard.

At first light this morning we decided to put out the code 0. Unfortunatey we managed to wrap the furling line around the it undonedrum which took Mick and I over an hour to unwrap it. We had to cut it to get it unwrapped which was shame as it is a endless line. Good news Mick to the rescue as he managed to splice it back together so that we could furl it back in.

Our tussle with Christine continues so we decided to fly the spinnaker to gain an advantage. He also had a big downwind sail so we couldn't shake them off. They have taken theirs down and we haven't yet so if we are brave enough maybe we can overtake them.

We were informed by WARC there has been a large earth quake in Honduras and there was a risk of tsunami in this area. Fortunately that passed without incident for the WARC fleet but our thoughts are with the people of Honduras.

All being well we should be in Santa Marta by morning so a few beers may get drunk.
