Lexington - 13°. 23' S. 161°. 51' W May 19, 2017

It is 02:30 and my watch again. The good news is that we have 14-17 knots of nearly dead down wind, we are doing 7+ knots of boat speed and we are only 70+ miles from Suwarrow. This means we are good for a daylight arrival. This also means that I think we are still ahead of a boat with a great big brand new expensive parasail. Parasails are supposed to be the thing to have. This parasail is extra large and made of heavier fabric so it can be flown in greater wind. His boat is also brand new and tricked out. My boat is 20 years old with old sails and an old owner. The only explanation I can come up with is that his parasail is colored with Ohio State colors. That may be holding him back. Now with social media we have the timer set to see how long it takes for him to see this!!! All else is well. We still have a good bit of roll which makes it hard to sleep because you literally roll from side to side as the boat rolls. My mangoes are ripening so I had a fresh mango for breakfast this morning. I had my banana bread and two soft boiled (microwaved) eggs for lunch. Hope all is well at home with everyone. I am always glad to share about the trip. If you have any questions just put them in the comments. There have already been enough comments about my mental status.  I like my twin headsails so much that I think I will find the next place by just pointing dead down wind. May fair winds fill your sails with fresh down wind breezes. Bob
