Lexington - Captain Bob: sad sailors

We are making a judgement on our time in Galapagos or being a dedicated sailor. We did well all day with our light air asymmetrical spinnaker and we did well. Nearing sunset we tried to make some adjustments but we were getting only 4 knots of speed. And we were 35 degrees off a good course. So we made the decision to wrap the sail and turn on the motor. I hate to motor but what does a day in Galapagos measure up to.
Today has been a little hot especially when working on changing sails. When I came in from working on deck I drank three tall glasses of water.
I am now doing the radio roll call. That is when all boats check in. This is done morning and evening.
Bob
