The arrival of all the ARC Portugal yachts to Marina de Lagos yesterday late afternoon completes the sail south of the rally for 2016. By 2000 all the fleet was berthed and bottles of champagne were opened as Fraser and Jane got engaged just at the entrance of Marina de Lagos as With Dignity arrived onto the waiting pontoon. The participants had a free night to celebrate the great news and a free day today to explore Lagos and enjoy the sun.
Tonight will be the final prize giving and last supper at the Waypoint Restaurant, celebrating the achievements of the last four weeks and marking the end of ARC Portugal 2016.
