Tinia - The chase

At 12,30 utc yesterday we got news of a massive storm coming in behind us over the next 3 days, we had 465 miles to go and we have been averaging about 135 mile a day ,so we decided to make a run for it, with the spinnaker up we covered 155 miles in the last 24 hours so if we can repeat that over the next two days we should just get in port before it hits. Everything to go faster, Matt has been rowing with the dinghy paddles, Luke has been jumping up and down (he says it lightens to load). Daves been working on the tobacco and iv been getting rid of the cases of beer. So we are picking up speed and not looking behind us. x jl
