Lexington - Captain Bob: 1/16/2018 17*11'south. 4*17'west

St Helena is 115 miles ahead. It is a beautiful sunny day with 16 knots of wind and 6.5 knots of boat speed. We anticipate being in St Helena around noon tomorrow. From there we will have an even longer leg to Salvado da Bahia Brazil.
It is hard to believe that we are as far along as we are. I am going to have to digest the whole trip after I get home and reread my blogs. I am going to have to do a lot of studying to finally figure it all out. It sure has opened my eyes to a lot but it has not given me the understanding that I probably need. It is so much easier to be back home on the farm.
I am truly trying to figure out what I am going to do with the rest of my life. I have made a few list of very short term low priority goals like getting the weeds out of the garden and some long term goals that are probably too vague. What I need is my Mother who always told me what I wanted to do. She would tell me I always wanted to be a doctor because she wanted me to be a doctor. She always told me to eat the spinach because "I always liked spinach". It was much easier for her than it is for me. I will probably be having the same thoughts 15 years from now. I might even end up like the dog that chases cars, what will I do if I catch one.
May fair winds fill your sails with lofty goals.
Bob
