Rubikon - Day 11 - Deacceleration

After still having made a 5.4kn average VMG yesterday, today brought lighter winds and slower speeds. Giving us more time to sleep and relax, as well as do some basic housekeeping, while the autopilot is guiding us further towards the west.

We removed the rope that was caught in the right-hand-side propeller, giving us fully working propulsion on both sides again, as well as cleaned some blocked waste tanks, in addition to the outside seating area. Sports continued with more planks and pull-ups.

Food-wise we finished off the remaining Bolognese, as well as caught another small Mahi-Mahi that will likely be the basis for some snack tomorrow. Kai kindly produced a batch of cinnamon rolls that were anihilated almost instantly.

To pass the time, we played a round of Wizard (a basic, but entertaining and surprisingly strategic card game), which Martin managed to win in the last round, following a tight race.

On the downside we are slightly low on water in our tanks (but have more than enough drinking water available). For reasons yet to be explained, we lost about 320l of fresh water tonight, meaning we will be using most of the sunny hours today to run our watermaker and produce enough fresh-water to have a comfortable buffer again.

No predictions on our VMG today, as half the crew is asleep and we probably averaged below 5kn in the last 24h...
