Exocet Strike - 17-18 January 2017

The wind started picking up later yesterday and even though it wasn't quite in he exact direction we needed it was close enough to speed us on our way.
This lunch time we crossed from the east to the west as we crossed the meridian.
Stella put the fishing gear out again, only to catch something pretty big which broke the line. Lost the lure but fortunately no line. Shame obviously a good lure.
After fixing the line and putting a new life on, almost immediately after we had another strike. It's the fourth one in three days, but Stella reeled this one in and Brian helped by pulling it out with our net. A nice 6 or 7 lb Mahi Mahi or Dorado or Dolphin fish, call it what you like, but it looks amazingly yellow when it's pulled in. Great tasting as well, so fish for supper tonight.
Under 450 miles to go now, another milestone. Looking like lighter winds ahead.
It's funny in the UK and Europe 200 miles is often looked on as a big distance, here were thinking we are nearly there!
Onwards!!!
