Wethomi - //WL2K 25. November 2016

Heard about the sinking of SY Noah. What a relief that all crew are well. That's a nightmare especially with children. Seems a great job of all participants of the rescue operation.
In this light our problem and that of our fellow ARC+cruisers is small but nevertheless matters: We need a lot longer to cross the ocean than expected. Everybody is now counting water, supplies, fuel. It seems that the latter - diesel - is the most rare commodity on board. So most yachts slowed down and are experiencing what our predecessors in former centuries had to endure. But they had no watermakers, fridges, solar panels etc.
So we keep patience and are enjoing the splendid calm ocean.

What else happened?
No wind at all and no fish. Beautiful evening sky, Heavy tropical shower. Some repairs accomplished, some not, Lots of slow motoring. Fresh bread and good Spanish red wine.
1270 NM to St. Lucia
