Hufflepuff - waiting for the weather to blow through



After a bumpy night next to the Haslar lightship and with the weather expected to worsen, we made plans to move to a more sheltered berth. That was the cue for the sun to come out after hours of rain, naturally. The noise of the wind in the rigging is increasing now, though, so we're glad we made the move.
We've had a relaxing day with games on board and a trip on the ferry across to Portsmouth. The crew split up with part going off to watch "Finding Dory" and part having lunch at Loch Fyne in Gunwharf Quays.
The skippers' briefing went through the key points for our passage to Cherbourg with an update promised on Saturday. It's exciting to anticipate the trip, but let's see what the weather holds for us...
