Paw Paw - Log Day 181: Time for the "Chicken Chute" Again

This morning it was time for the "Chicken Chute" again; the first time since our Pacific Ocean crossing. We've been flying along nicely in moderated seas with speeds of up to 10Kts at times.

Given that we're more than halfway to Surwarrow with less than 300NN to go, we're hoping it's enough to shave off a night at sea and make landfall on Sunday rather than Monday. If not, we'll have to slow down to make a daylight arrival.

In the interim, Elaine is grateful that she's feeling human again after a few days of feeling somewhat "green". Unfortunately the frequency of the south-easterly swell we had was exactly the one that triggers her queasiness, the first time ever since moving onto Paw Paw and only the second time ever at sea. Thankfully, on this occasion, there was no actual sickness with it. Roy, on the otherhand, with his cast-iron constitution, took it all in his stride as usual.
