Furia - day 4 some spinnaker sailing and at last: shorts and tea shirts

We are very sorry for the damaged boats yesterday, especially for Duffy, our Italian friends and neighbours on Las Palmas pontoon.

On day 4 we are doing fine. Activities on board depend on wind, waves, sunshine and rain and alternate in a non-orderly manner: morning squall showers, wind dropped force 4-5, hoisting the spinnaker, here comes another squall from our stern; dropping the spinnaker; poling out jib; heavy showers wash the boat (and some of us); then, under some cautious sunshine we are in a rush to put on shorts (for the first time on this passage), hoisting the spinnaker again, jibing, then wind increased force 6 again, dropping the spinnaker, poling out the jib and on and on. It is not an easy sailing with the spinnaker in this swell, our narrow hull being punished by the waves. Mihail, however, is steering the right way.

Of course, we joke all the time with this and that and generally endure and enjoy our life aboard, being preferable than any other day in the office.
