Hatha Maris - day 13 7/12/2019

Hatha Maris Day 13, December 7th 2019

Yesterday was Nicolaus Day and in Switzerland the kids traditionally tell St. Nicolaus a poem to get the little present, bag filled with nuts and chocolates, from him.

Here a little poem to what happened on the boat in Swiss language and the english translation:

Samichlaus du glaubsches nöd
Wänd wotsch ufs WC s isch ganz blöd
Sprützts as Bei wämer tuet pumpe
Das bringt üs alli richtig z gumpe.

Thalita nimmt dä Schrubezieher
Das müemer flicke jetzt und hier
Sie mechet alles usenand
Und hät luter Dichtige ide Hand.

S passt nüme zäme und seicht nomeh
Ein Sumpf im WC s tuet eim weh
Corinne chasch du mol luege do
S rünnt al no ich cha das nöd verstoh.

Beidi chlämme mer idem WC
Twistermässig das händer no nie gseh
Do äs Bei und döt ä Hand
Schrubezieher und nasses Gwand.

Stinke tuets äs wird eim übel
Gang hol gschnäll än Gummichübel
Rupfe stosse und achli flueche
Schweiss lauft abe bidene Rueche.

Endlich gschafft äs funktioniert
Und beidi säged unschiniert:
Ä sonen Schissjob liebe Chlaus
Gib üs äs Säckli mit Wiehnachtsschmaus!

The little poem tells the story about an issue with the toilet pump. While flashing the toilet water drips out and splashes ones legs. Everybody is annoyed about this. Thalita decides to fix the pump. Armed with a screw driver she starts to dismantle the pump and exchange some caskets. But somehow bits and pieces do not fit together anymore. She asks Corinne to have a look and both squize into the toilet, arms, legs and tools al tangled. After several try outs and some swearing all fits and the pump is working. All sweaty and exhausted, both as everyone else on the boat, receive St.Nicolaus gift bag full with nuts, sweets and chocolates. We celebrate and spend a lovely evening.
