Children from boats across the fleet met for fun and games yesterday afternoon with the start of Kids Club run by Federacion Insular de Vela de Gran Canaria. It was great to see friendships being made with the kids all enjoying water games and cooling off from the warm weather in the sea.
The kids club activities are inclusive in the ARC+ programme of events and run daily from Monday to Friday supported by an enthusiastic team so there are sure to enjoy many sporting and fun activities.
The afternoons activities were followed by a family barbeque at Club Varadero on Saturday evening with almost 70 adults and children in attendance. It was a fantastic evening with fun and games including a magician. This event is a great way for all the ARC+ family boats to meet prior to crossing the Atlantic however many have already got to know each other on the family pontoons.
All the families including children are welcome to the costume party and farewell drinks as part of the programme later in the week so there are plenty of activities for the kids to look forward to.
