Morgane of Sark - back at the ocean saturday night

Back at the ocean… We picked the ritme up again easily. Almost like we didn’t stop and have a blast in Mindelo. Because We really enjoyed our stop over at Cape Verde!

So, now on our way to Grenada. The start of the rally was a lot of fun. Circumstances were better than in Gran Canaria. No annoying waves and nauseousness this time. Just enjoying all the boats around us taking of.

We are getting into our second night. It’s cloudy and dark, despite of the almost full moon. Last night it was a bit lighter. The wind died on us during diner. The good thing was that we had a real dinner at the table, the drawback is that we just turned on the engine. A speed of 2,5 kts for a longer period will not bring us to Grenada before Dec. 7th.

Current position N 14 46, 45. W 27 10 33, currently we have Northern wind of 2-4 knts.

According to our Furuno we have sailed 138 miles since departure and we have still 2.326 NM to go. ETA 19 days and 9 hours… Honestly, hope to be there a little sooner.

We went a bit to the South, hoping for a little more wind. We expect to be able to sail again before dawn.

So, this was our first update. We are enjoying our time at the ocean. Just to let the time pass. Read, write, eat, sleep, talk, listen to music and podcasts. And watch a movie every once in a while. Things do take time on a moving boat. Elvira makes herself once or twice a cappucino and it nearly takes a half an hour. Getting the machines out, making the coffee, putting the machines back…
Cooking takes quite some time to. But, these two days, we had great, healthy and tasteful meals. Yesterday, we had two kinds of fish with a leftover of paella and tonight we had a curry vegetable stew with another piece of fish.

Motoring into the night. Talk to you later!
